Who am I?

Hey! I’m Heidi, a home-school mama to 2 girls, picture book lover and resource creator!

Here on the blog, I’ll be sharing both tips and inspiration as well as any challenges we face along the way as we navigate this crazy home-schooling journey.

With 2 young children our routine is currently pretty child-led. We focus on spending time outside in nature, honouring the seasons and learning through crafts, activities and of course, reading LOTS of books.

For me, a well rounded education doesn’t just involve academics, but developing a love and respect for nature, practicing essential life skills like cooking, growing food and money management as well as preparing a child for experiencing real life out in the big, wide world.

So what can you expect?

Here on this little corner of the internet we’ll be talking all things home education, from seasonal book and resource recommendations to incorporating interest-based learning and simplifying education when you are juggling students at different ages and stages.
